The European Commission’s CEF Digital team have created an online platform with a range of information on eInvoicing across Europe.
PEPPOL is an eDelivery network for the transmission of eProcurement documents including eInvoices. Ireland has chosen PEPPOL for the transmission of eInvoices to support compliance with the eInvoicing Directive.
Ireland chose PEPPOL because it allows businesses to connect once and to connect to all public administrations and private entreprises on the network, breaking down barriers to trade and making it easier to transact with Government. For further information on PEPPOL please click the below link:
