The Live Out Loud campaign is a national event that celebrates LGBTI+ youth and shows how they are visible, valued and included.
We want LGBTI+ young people, or those working with them, to submit stories to us online so we can showcase them on this website, across social media, and eventually at a celebration event in January 2021. All with the aim of promoting the ways in which LGBTI+ young people are included in their communities in a positive way.
We are inviting submissions for the campaign from schools, colleges, sports clubs, the arts and culture community and youth sectors to get involved and celebrate LGBTI+ young people and LGBTI+ champions.

Goal 1 of the LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy 2018-2020 is to Create a Safe, Supportive and Inclusive Environment for LGBTI+ Young People.
Objective 5 under this Goal seeks to 'provide a more supportive and inclusive environment that encourages positive LGBTI+ representation and participation in culture, society and sport, and reduces LGBTI+ stigma'. The related action (5(e)) is to develop a biennial national event to publicly celebrate LGBTI+ young people and young leaders.
We also want to show solidarity with international LGBTI+ youth groups and welcome submissions from Irish involvement with international and European LGBTI+ NGOs and organisations.
