Daniel O'Connell Commemoration

A ceremony to mark the Anniversary of the death of Daniel O'Connell takes place in Glasnevin Cemetery on the Sunday closest to the 14th May, the date on which he died.

The ceremony has been held annually since 2010 and includes a Wreath Laying Ceremony and

Commemoration Lecture. The ceremony is open to the public.
