Principal Officer, Press and Communications

Responsibility for:

press and media relations;
development and delivery of internal and external communications strategy to support the delivery of the Department's work programme;
carry out periodic media analytics and research studies to support the implementation of the communications plan employing best practice;
facilitate the department in the provision of internal communications channels;
development and implementation of marketing and behaviour change campaigns in support of the department’s objectives;
liaison with Heads of Communication in relevant government departments and state bodies for which the department is responsible;
development and delivery of the department's web social media strategies.
