Head of Programme Management

Assigned responsibility as Head of Programme Management at Principal Officer standard level for :

• Establishing a programme Management office for Tailte Éireann and developing a mature approach to programme and project management implementation taking account of cultural, change management and integration considerations
• Oversight and promotion of Project Management discipline generally through PMO function
• Ensuring full adherence to project management principles, policies and governance in the management, control and day to day resourcing of major Projects
• Development of PM policy and guidelines in line with the Project Management Handbook of the Civil service (in line with Action 10 of Our Public Service 2020)
• Procurement of ongoing Project Management Training
• ICT project oversight compliance
• Oversight of compliance with governance and central oversight of digital and ICT initiatives under DPER Circular 14/21.
