Paddy Gray

Paddy Gray is Professor Emeritus in housing at Ulster University and has a wide range pf publications on housing policy and practice.

In 2010 he was appointed the first and only Irish President of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

He is Chair and a board member of a number of housing organisations across the UK and Ireland including the Wheatley Group (the UK's largest social housing developer), Glasgow HA and Tuath.

In 2012 Paddy was awarded an honorary Fellowship of RICS. In 2015 he won the UK award for Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience. In 2017 he was named the top power player in housing in the UK and in 2019 was awarded an OBE for services to housing and communities.

He is a visiting professor at Spiru Haret University, Romania and Jiangxia University, Fujian China.
