The first co-funded Call of the AgData partnership is open for the submission of proposals addressing "EU-wide data-driven solutions to real problems".

This Call is organised by the European Agriculture of Data Partnership. The aim of the EU Partnership Agriculture of Data (AgData) is to “enhance climate, environmental and socio-economic sustainability and productivity of agriculture, and increase the capacity for policy monitoring and evaluation through exploiting the potential offered by Earth Observation (EO), other environmental and agricultural data, and using newly developed digital & data technologies in Europe to support the parallel digital and green transitions, with emphasis on utilising the umbrella effect”, consolidating and linking the efforts of existing initiatives.

This call addresses topics reflecting the main objectives of the partnership. The main objectives of the partnership are described in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) AgData SRIA final_version.pdf.

Irish eligible research performing organisations, seeking grant-aid from DAFM, can apply for funding under scientific Topic’s 2 & 3, which include:

Topic 2 - Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture - intended to strengthen capacities to adapt to climate change, enhancing functionality, performance assessment and decision making.

Topic 3 - Data-based solutions for policy-making - to provide reliable indicators that reflect effects of policies, in particular the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), and development of tools to strengthen policy performance assessment, by means of data gathering and analytical capabilities. The current national assessment approach will be improved by an EU approach. Benefits for end users like the reduction of administrative burden and support to their own decision-making tools should be explored.

The Joint Call follows a two-step procedure that includes a pre-proposal submission step followed by the full proposal submission.

The deadline for short proposals is January 21, 12:00h CET (noon).

Joint transnational call 2026 - EUP OHAMR

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) invites eligible Irish Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) to submit joint research proposals under the co-funded European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance, Joint transnational call 2026. The call "Treatments and adherence to treatment protocols", Joint transnational call 2026 - EUP OHAMR

This Call is organised by the European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) which aims to improve the treatment success rates of the patients/animals/plants affected by bacterial or fungal infections by providing new treatment options while reducing the risk of resistance in the different One Health settings.

Irish eligible research performing organisations, seeking grant-aid from DAFM, can apply for funding under scientific Topic 3, which include:

Topic 3 - Assess the impact of antimicrobials for veterinary and agricultural use on the risk of AMR transmission to humans and the environment to inform policies on the restriction of some antimicrobials for human use.
