Minister of State with Responsibility for Disability, Anne Rabbitte T.D., is seeking to establish a new Disability Stakeholder Group (DSG). In order to find organisations and individuals to join the DSG an Expression of Interest process is being launched.

The DSG plays an important role in the monitoring of the Government’s disability policy and strategies, including monitoring the current National Disability Inclusion Strategy. More detailed information about the DSG is available above and in the documentation for this launch.
The next DSG with be the sixth group. It will continue to monitor the implementation of the National Disability Inclusion Strategy (now extended to run until the end of 2022). It carries out this role by:
Minister Rabbitte is seeking DSG members with all kinds of experience of disability, including lived experience, professional experience and academic knowledge. Expressions of Interest are therefore sought from:
It would be good for the DSG to have members who represent the wide range of disability experiences in Ireland and expressions of interest are encouraged from individuals and organisations who may normally be most distanced from policy and legislation formation.
