Acting Principal Officer, Statistics and Analytics Service

Responsible for providing technical and statistical guidance to support Departmental work, work of the wider health information system and developments at international level. Ensuring the collection of high-quality health care data required by international organisations and to ensure better availability of comparative health statistics. To support, develop and enable the Department’s monitoring, evaluation, policy development and planning roles through improved availability and use of information. To provide a statistical and analytics service to support Corporate priorities and strengthen data-driven decision making within the Department. To ensure health data and information are disseminated widely to reach multiple audiences including the public, researchers and public health professionals.
