Call for Expressions of Interest – 5 August to 19 September 2025
Applications were invited from survivors and affected persons interested in participating in the following engagement structures:
- National Centre for Research and Remembrance – Steering Group (4 positions)
- National Centre for Research and Remembrance – National Museum of Ireland Lived Experience Experts Panels (ongoing opportunities)
- Special Advocate for Survivors Advisory Council (up to 35 positions)
Expressions of interest in these positions were invited from Survivors and Affected Persons of:
- Industrial School Institutions and Reformatory Institutions
- Magdalen Laundries
- Mother and Baby and County Home Institutions
- Boarded out arrangements
- Historic adoption practices and illegal birth registration
- Any of the above who live overseas
Applications closed on the 19 September 2025.
