The Minister for Health, Simon Harris TD, has appointed Ms Hilary Coates as a member of the St James’s Hospital Board on the nomination of the Chairman of the Board. This appointment is for the period from 17 December 2019 to 16 December 2025.
Ms Hilary Coates
Hilary Coates is a high performing, ambitious, patient, focused, commercially aware executive leader with extensive experience and in depth knowledge of working in large complex healthcare organisations in Ireland and globally.
Ms Coates has a proven track record of accomplishments at both strategic and operational level in start-up and dynamic national and international organisations.
Ms Coates is currently Head of Health Sector, Bank of Ireland, Baggot Plaza. She was previously Head of Healthcare Regulation, HIQA and Patient Safety Adviser with the World Health Organization (WHO).
