Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, T.D., has appointed the following person as a member of the Occupational Therapists Registration Board, on her election by the registrants of the designated profession, with effect from 13 September 2020 to 13 February 2024:

Ms Niamh Doyle

Ms Doyle is a Senior Occupational Therapist in Primary Care in Ennis, Co Clare. She received a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff, Wales in 1997. After qualifying she worked in Scotland and Australia before returning to Ireland. Niamh has worked in various settings including acute hospital care, physical rehabilitation, early intervention (paediatrics) and has been in her current post in primary care since 2007.

Niamh is a member of the Mid West Aids and Appliances review group and was a member of the committee involved in the establishment of the Memory Technology Resource Rooms in CHO3 (Mid West region) in 2018. She has a special interest in Clinical Supervision and in Motor Neurone Disease and has been a contributor to the Connect Magazine published by Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, T.D., has appointed the following person as a member of the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board, on her election by the registrants of the designated profession, with effect from 3 November 2020 to 13 February 2024:
