Re-appointment of 4 members to the Hepatitis C and HIV Compensation Tribunal

The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly T.D., has re-appointed the following members to the Hepatitis C and HIV Compensation Tribunal. These reappointments are with effect from the 28th of October 2022 until the 27th of October 2024.

Joseph O’Sullivan

Joseph O’Sullivan B.L. has practiced at the Bar of Ireland since 1997. His main areas of practice are Judicial Review /Administrative Law, Commercial Law and Professional Negligence. He is a member of the Council of the Bar of Ireland and Chair of its Human Rights Committee.

Adrienne Cawley

Adrienne Cawley B.L. was called to the Bar in 1994. She is a practising barrister specialising in the areas of family law, property law, landlord and tenant law, and probate.

John Healy

John Healy S.C. has practised in the Four Courts since 1999 and has considerable experience in the fields of civil litigation, medical law, constitutional law, and judicial review. He is also the author of a number of authoritative legal books, including Medical Malpractice Law (Thomson Roundhall, Brehon Library, 2008) and Irish Laws of Evidence (Roundhall, 2004).

Stephen Boggs

Stephen Boggs B.L. is a graduate of the University of Limerick and the Honourable Society of the King’s Inns. He was called to the Bar and has been a member of the Law Library since 2005. Stephen practices primarily in Civil litigation at all levels of the Court system. Stephen has years of experience in decision making, as a sitting member of statutory Tribunals. He lives in Dublin with his family.
