The Minister for Health, Mr Simon Harris TD, has reappointed the following persons to the National Treatment Purchase Fund Board. These appointments are from the 25 May 2020 to 24 May 2023.
Ms Anne Stewart
Anne has over 25 years’ experience in Procurement. Previously she held a number of Senior Executive roles in Procurement at Global and National level across a number of industries such as electronics, food, plastics, software & telecommunications. She has extensive experience in sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contracting. She is currently Director of Group Procurement & Supply Chain at Eir. Anne studied Purchasing and Materials management at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Ms Patricia Byron
Patricia Byron has worked as a senior executive in the Insurance and related financial services sector over many years and currently sits on the Commission of the Central Bank of Ireland. She was the first CEO of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB). As Chairperson of the Motor Insurers Bureau of Ireland she led a reform programme, focusing on business transformation and effectiveness. As Chairperson of the Association of Chief Executives of State Bodies, she became actively involved in a number of cross-cutting public sector reform initiatives. Since leaving the PIAB in 2015, she led a Strategic Review programme at Chartered Surveyors Ireland. Patricia is a graduate of UCD, a Chartered Insurer and the first female President of the Insurance Institute.
