The 2022 SuperValu TidyTowns competition is now open to applications.
The closing date for receipt of entries for this year’s competition is Friday 20th May 2022.
Entries will only be accepted by email to tidytowns@drcd.gov.ie

The competition strives to support vibrant, inclusive and sustainable communities throughout Ireland, and TidyTowns is a great way to get involved in community life.

The competition did not take place in 2020, in 2021 the adjudicators judged the entrants by desk assessment. This year see the return of in person adjudication as the adjudicators return to visiting each entrant in person. They will be assessing centres during June and July and the results of the 2022 competition will be announced later in the year.

- Abbeyleix in Laois took the title of tidiest small town
- Cobh in Cork was named as tidiest large town
- Ennis in Clare was named as the tidiest large urban centre and also took the national title of Ireland’s Tidiest Town for 2021
