Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works (OPW), Patrick O’Donovan T.D, is delighted to welcome the transfer of two vacant Limerick Garda Stations, namely, the former Garda Station and Residence, Shanagolden and the former Garda Station and Residence, Galbally to Limerick County Council.
Minister O’Donovan said
“the transfer of the former Garda Stations and Residences to Limerick County Council marks a new era for the local communities. These vacant sites, which have been unused for a significant number of years, will be brought back into use and given a new lease of life”.
