Minister Donohoe appoints Ms. Charlotte Sheridan and Ms. Davina Saint to NAMA Board

The Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe T.D., has today (29 December 2020) announced the appointment of two new members, Ms. Charlotte Sheridan and Ms. Davina Saint, to the Board of NAMA.

These appointments are the outcome of an open competitive process conducted through the public appointments service and are in line with the requirement to have regard to the skills, diversity and gender mix within State Boards in the Government’s recently published Annex on Gender Balance, Diversity and Inclusion Reform.

Commenting on the appointment the Minister for Finance, Mr. Paschal Donohoe T.D., said:

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Charlotte Sheridan and Davina Saint to the Board of NAMA. These appointments will bring a breadth of additional skills and experience to NAMA as it concentrates on emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic and looks forward to completing its important work over the coming years.”

Charlotte Sheridan

Charlotte Sheridan is a registered architect and town planner and a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) , with over 20 years’ professional experience as a director of Sheridan Woods, an architecture and urban planning practice. She has specialised in urban regeneration, housing, sustainable communities and collaborative planning in towns and cities in Ireland, with past experience in London and Berlin. Charlotte was elected to the RIAI Council in 2018 and appointed Honorary Secretary for 2019–2020. She is a Non-Executive Director and Board Member of the RIAI since January 2019. She is also a member of the Planning Advisory Committee for NAMA as an external Planning Advisor.

Davina Saint

Davina Saint is a senior level banking executive, and qualified Solicitor, experienced in the structuring and execution of complex corporate finance transactions. Ms. Saint has extensive legal experience with 19 years as Head of Legal and General Counsel for a large European Bank’s operations in Ireland. Davina is a Chartered Director and has built corporate governance and risk management experience across multiple boards and executive committees.
