If you're an Erasmus+ student returning from a country on the quarantine list
, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science (DFHERIS), will cover the cost of the mandatory hotel quarantine when you arrive in Ireland.
This covers Erasmus+ students, at all levels, who are returning to Ireland directly from the country where they're studying. It includes Erasmus+ students registered in colleges in the State, regardless of nationality.
If you're an Erasmus+ student studying in a country on the quarantine list, and are near the end of your period abroad, you should contact your home college before you return. Your college will confirm your Erasmus+ status and make the booking directly with the quarantine facility for you.
