Transport Research Arena coming to Dublin in April 2024
After a productive TRA conference in Lisbon, 14th to the 17th of November 2022, Ireland is set to host the next TRA in the RDS in Dublin from the 15th of April until the 18th of April 2024 with registration and a Welcome Reception being held on the 14th of April.

The Irish Ambassador to Portugal, Ralph Victory gratefully accepted the passing of the baton from Portugal to Ireland at the Official Handover during the Closing Ceremony of TRA 2022 on the 17th of November in Lisbon.
A promotional video also featured at the Handover which included contributions from the Lord Mayor of Dublin Caroline Conroy, the Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Simon Harris and the then Minister of State for Transport Hildegarde Naughton who all expressed their wish to see you in Dublin for the conference in 2024.

The TRA conference has become one of the most important transport conferences since the first was held in Goteburg, Sweden in 2006 and has subsequently been held in a different European city every two years.
The goal of the TRA is to facilitate cooperation between stakeholders in the areas of innovation and development in transport.
This is based on strategic research, innovation, and deployment frameworks. The conference covers all modes of transport: road, rail, water, aviation as well as passenger/freight transport.
