The Minister of State for Agriculture with responsibility for land use and biodiversity has prepared a new Forest Strategy for Ireland.
As part of this process, the Forest Strategy has been screened for both:
1. Strategic Environmental Assessment under the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004 (as amended); and
2. Appropriate Assessment under the European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011 (as amended).
