Oversight of the implementation of the Infrastructure Guidelines (IG- formerly the Public Spending Code) for all major capital health projects (i.e. >€200m) on behalf of the Accounting Officer.
Ensure that IG outputs for major infrastructural investment proposals/projects are efficiently and comprehensively reviewed, subject to internal challenge and critique and, where appropriate, shepherded through the various approval gates of the IG lifecycle.
Delivery and oversight of projects >€200m under construction.
Oversight of the New Children’s Hospital (NCH) capital project, including oversight and governance of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB).
