Responsibility at Principal level for strengthening policy capability and collaboration in the Department. This is achieved through policy education, policy governance, working in partnership with policy units on key priorities; and sharing best practice in policy making. In addition to the primary policy function, PSIU currently has a leadership and coordination role in the area of Women’s Health. This includes coordination of the Women's Health Taskforce, oversight of the delivery of the Women's Health Action Plan 2022-2023 and management of the Women's Health Fund.
