The Deputy Director General assists the Director General with the effective and efficient management of the Office including strategic planning and direction and addressing cross-cutting matters involving the Office.
She supports and advises the Director General in relation to discharging his statutory, governance and fiduciary obligations in all matters and in particular matters relating to risk management, service delivery and the management of resources, working with the Head of Administration.
She assists and deputises for the Director General in the discharge of his duties and undertakes duties and projects assigned by the Director General. The Deputy Director General has a particular role in the planning, evaluation and development of the legal services of the Office, including analysing existing services, service demands and trends in order to develop short and longer terms objectives and plans for the organisation.
