Responsibility at Principal Officer level for the coordination and monitoring of the Department’s Corporate Legislation Programme. This encompasses responsibility for progression of selected legislation and regulation (including Covid-19 legislation and regulation) in line with Departmental strategic priorities. Ongoing liaison with other Divisions of the Department, the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel, Office of the Attorney General and Office of the Chief Whip, as appropriate. Development of a one stop shop for information on the legislative programme to ensure staff are skilled and informed on all aspects of the legislative process and have access to comprehensive guidance and advice as required.
