Lead engagement with international fora and processes in relation to pandemic and health emergency preparedness, including the EU's Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority.
Policy input on areas of international health emergency preparedness.
Policy input on health aspects of national emergency management.
Represent the Department of Health, and lead on health-related work arising from the Government Taskforce on Emergency Planning.
Provide the secretariat to the Public Health Reform Expert Advisory Group to support the Chair and the Group's work to completion.
