The Health and Wellbeing Programme leads the coordination of implementation of Healthy Ireland, the national framework to improve health and wellbeing (2013-2025). The Programme works closely with colleagues across other Government Departments, the HSE and a wide range of partners and stakeholders. The Programme oversees the implementation of a number of policies and strategies under the Healthy Ireland umbrella, including the National Obesity Policy, the National Physical Activity Plan and the National Sexual Health Strategy, as well as managing the Healthy Ireland Fund, publishing the annual Healthy Ireland Survey and running a national communications and citizen engagement campaign.
