The Assistant Secretary General for Finance/Corporate has responsibilities for

Leading the finance function of the department, including its Accounts Branch, the Budget and Estimates process and the monitoring of Departmental expenditure;
Legislation;
Corporate Services (including strategic planning and risk management);
Data protection; and
Investment analysis.
