Responsibility at Assistant Secretary General level for communications; oversight of the research, evaluation and information functions; risk management, statement of strategy; and the provision of legal advice services to the Department. The Division is responsible for the Information Management function and for planning for the arrival of the disability brief from the Department of Health in association with the corporate services division, which is leading on the Transfer of Functions. The division also has responsibility for Youth policy and oversight and delivery of various funding schemes; ensuring the voice of children and young people in decision making, implementation of the LGBT Youth strategy and Oberstown Children’s Detention Campus.
