Degrees and awards granted by Higher Education Institutions as listed below can be stamped/authenticated by the Department of Further and Higher Education Research, Innovation and Science. Awards made by private colleges cannot be stamped by the Department and should be referred to the relevant accrediting body, e.g. QQI.

In order to comply with data protection legislation, this information can only be released by the university / institution at the request of the student.
When this information has been received, you should contact the Department by phone or e-mail to arrange a time to call to our office in Marlborough Street to have the award stamped.
You should follow the same procedure if you need a letter (e.g. statement of results) to be stamped. A copy of the letter must be e-mailed to the Department from the institution before the original can be stamped.
There is no charge for this service.
