Following a Public Appointments Service campaign, The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has appointed Mr. Niall Murphy to the National Cancer Registry Board with effect from 16th January 2023 until 15th January 2027.
Niall has over 25 years of international experience in technology and digital transformation across all industries including healthcare with a particular focus on how organisations can use communications, collaboration and data technologies to transform their operations. Currently a Senior Manager with Salesforce, he has been building and developing teams to support customers across Europe for several years. He has also been responsible for several change management programs arising from acquiring new businesses and organizational change. This has involved designing and implementing consumable programs to support the development of the business. Niall is skilled at ensuring tight alignment multiple stakeholders at both customers and internally (product, marketing and sales teams) to improve processes and drive the best outcomes for customers. Niall has strong communication skills with the ability to present at large events or smaller executive briefings adjusting the messaging accordingly to the audience as appropriate be it a professional / technical audience / senior executives as needed. He regularly presents at events internationally. Prior to his current role Niall worked for a startup in London which was acquired by Microsoft and Ericsson both in Ireland and Sweden. His academic awards include a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analytics (UCD), Masters in Engineering (DCU) and Bachelor of Engineering (UCD).
