Biography

Brendan McMahon

Brendan McMahon joined the OPC in July 2006. Prior to this, he worked in the Legal Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs where he advised on a range of matters relating to domestic, EU and international law, and represented the State in various legal fora.

He holds the degrees of BCL and Master in Equality Studies from UCD, and was called to the Bar in 1995. He has previously delivered Modules of the Advanced Diploma in Legislative Drafting course provided by the Honorable Society of Kings Inn’s.
