Responsible for the delivery, co-ordination and management of professional legislative drafting services by a group of specialist legislative drafters (Parliamentary Counsel) for the following Departments of State:
- Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment
- Department of Culture, Communications and Sport
- Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage
- Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht
- Department of Transport
Margaret is a member of the Government Legislation Committee and attends meetings of the Committee with regard to legislative drafting work falling within her remit.
