Information on OPW Heritage Site closures and COVID-19

Further to the Taoiseach’s announcement of Friday 27th March all OPW Heritage sites are closed.


Kevin Street Garda Station

The new Kevin Street Garda Divisional Headquarters, designed by the OPW, consisting of five storeys over a two level basement accommodates a new Garda Divisional Headquarters.


Ormond Castle

Ormond Castle is the best example of an Elizabethan manor house in Ireland and the only major unfortified dwelling from the Tudor period still in existence.


Flood Risk Management Plans

In 2018 the Minister of State for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief, Mr Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran TD launched the Flood Risk Management Plans.
