The Budget

Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Mr Paschal Donohoe TD, presented his Budget to the Dáil on the 8th October 2019. Here are some of the highlights:

 

White Paper – Estimates of Receipts and Expenditure for Year ending 31 December 2020

The White Paper sets out projected Exchequer revenues (taxation and other receipts) and expenditure (voted and non-voted) for 2019 and also for 2020 on a pre-Budget basis.

 

Budget 2020 Tax Strategy Group Papers

Budget 2020 Tax Strategy Group Papers on various options for tax policy changes prepared by the Tax Strategy Group prior to Budget 2020. The group is not a decision making body and the papers produced are simply a list of options and issues to be considered in the Budgetary process.
